Know the coach. Know the plan.

From overlooked to prepared

One opportunity changed the direction of my career.

I did not begin as a blue-chip recruit. The recruiting process felt unclear until one coach gave me an opportunity. I learned quickly that talent matters, but preparation, communication, and fit decide whether an opportunity becomes a real path.

At Fresno Pacific, I developed from a 16:20 collegiate 5K opener to 14:09.34. I ran 3:48.37 for 1500 meters, finished second at the 2023 PacWest Championships, competed at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships, and recorded performances listed by World Athletics.

I later served as Fresno Pacific’s Interim Cross Country and Track and Field Assistant Coach. I recruited athletes, built meet itineraries, organized travel, supported race-day operations, and worked directly with developing competitors.

After helping high school athletes navigate recruiting for another service, I built RX Recruiting as my own independent system. The goal is simple: give athletes the preparation and clarity I did not have at the start.

Real coaching is more than writing workouts. It is preparation, travel, trust, competition, and showing up when the result matters.

Questions families ask

Straight answers.

Are my athlete’s times good enough?

That depends on event, academics, development trend, division, and program. We begin with an honest fit assessment. If the current marks do not match the goal, we identify the performance gap and a realistic path forward.

My athlete already has a high school or club coach.

That is fine. Managed Recruiting can support the recruiting process while the current coach continues training. I communicate clearly and respect the existing coaching relationship.

Do you guarantee a scholarship or roster spot?

No responsible coach can guarantee a decision made by another program. I provide development, preparation, organization, and consistent execution so the athlete can present the strongest honest case.

When should we begin?

Sophomore or junior year creates the most runway. Seniors can still find opportunities, but the school list and outreach schedule need to move quickly.

Why distance runners only?

Distance is my specialty. I competed and coached across the 800, 1500, 3000, 5000, and cross country. Athletes deserve event-specific expertise.
