Privacy Policy
This privacy policy is provided by JACOB ETHAN RESENDEZ RX TRAINING (operating as RxRecruit), 10219 CRANDON PARK DR, BAKERSFIELD, CA 93312. Phone: (661)444-5816. Email: jer13pro@gmail.com.
Who this applies to
This policy applies to Jacob Resendez LLC and its operating brands, including RX Recruit, OC Excellence Performance, and Zone 2 Training.
This policy covers rxrecruit.online and its subpages, including the application funnels (/apply/, /assessment/, /launch/) and the athlete portal, as well as forms and funnels we operate on connected platforms. Because our services are used by high school athletes, many of whom are minors, our forms are intended to be completed by a parent or legal guardian, or by the athlete with a parent or guardian's involvement.
What we collect
Depending on which form you complete, we may collect:
- Parent/guardian information: name, relationship to athlete, email address, mobile phone number
- Athlete information, provided by the parent or guardian: name, high school, graduation year, event times/PRs, GPA, goal division
- Inquiry details: the services you are asking about and any details you include in your inquiry
- Consent confirmations: guardian confirmation and contact consent, where our forms require them
- Training data: if you connect Strava through the athlete portal, we access read-only activity data (distance, pace, heart rate, elevation) through Strava's API. We do not receive your Strava password.
- Technical and event data: the page visited or submitted from, event type and time, a random event/deduplication ID, IP address, browser or user-agent information, Meta browser/click identifiers such as
_fbpor_fbc, and (if present) which ad or campaign referred you (UTM source/medium/campaign)
How we use it
- To evaluate an athlete's realistic recruiting fit and respond honestly, including telling a family when college running isn't a realistic fit
- To respond to your inquiries and contact you about our services (calls, emails, texts related to your inquiry)
- To send appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, and follow-up messages related to our services
- To run coach outreach campaigns on behalf of enrolled athletes, which may include sharing athlete performance data, academics, and contact information with college coaches and programs the family has approved as part of a target list
- To improve which ads and messaging actually reach families who need this service
Mobile Information and SMS Consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
If you have opted in to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number solely to respond to your inquiries and to send appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, and follow-up messages related to our services. Our SMS program is limited to individuals 18 years of age or older. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at jer13pro@gmail.com or (661)444-5816. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for full program details.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party tools to actually run the business. Submitting a form may send your information to:
- Google (Sheets/Apps Script): application submissions from certain funnel pages are stored in a Google Sheet we control
- Supabase: application submissions from certain funnel pages are stored in a Supabase database we control
- Calendly: if you book a call, your name and email are shared with Calendly to schedule it
- Whop: if you purchase the Recruiting Playbook, your payment is processed by Whop — we do not see or store your card details
- Strava: if you connect your account in the athlete portal, activity data is pulled directly from Strava's API
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram): we use Meta Pixel and the Conversions API to measure site visits and completed assessments and to improve ad measurement and delivery. Meta may receive the event type and time, page URL, a random event/deduplication ID, IP address, browser or user-agent information, and Meta browser/click identifiers such as
_fbpor_fbc. We do not send parent or athlete names, email addresses, phone numbers, schools, graduation years, quiz answers, readiness scores, or recruiting details to Meta through these tools. Meta handles this data under its own privacy practices.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it with college coaches or programs except as part of an outreach campaign a family has actively engaged us to run. As stated above, mobile information and text messaging opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Data retention
We keep application and contact information for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services and respond to your inquiry, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you or your athlete at any time by contacting us (see contact below). If a form was submitted about a minor, the minor's parent or guardian can make this request.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our application funnels may temporarily save your in-progress answers in your browser's local storage so nothing is lost if the page reloads. Those saved answers stay on your device unless you submit the form. Meta Pixel may use cookies and similar technologies, including identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc, to measure visits and completed assessments. You can use your browser's privacy or content-blocking controls and Meta's own privacy and advertising controls to manage or limit this activity; the availability and effect of those controls depend on the browser and service.
Children's privacy
Our services are designed for high school athletes, many of whom are minors. Information about a minor athlete is provided to us by the athlete's parent or legal guardian; we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. We intend for forms concerning a minor to be completed by, or with the direct involvement of, that minor's parent or legal guardian. If you believe a minor has submitted information without appropriate parental or guardian involvement, contact us and we will address it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The effective date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
